Registration for 2015 Fall Ball

HLL Parents,
It is hard to believe the 2015 Hanover Little League season has come to a close. Our summer tournament season will be winding in the next few weeks, and it is time to begin looking forward to the Fall. I will be coordinating the Fall season for HLL, and I am really excited about it. As in 2014, we will be playing in the York County Baseball Fall Ball League. For those of you who have a child that is interested in playing for the first time, here is what the Fall Ball season will look like:

Baseball Divisions:
7U (coach pitch)   $90
8-9  $100
10-11  $110
11-12  $110
13-14  $110
(Ages are based on player’s Spring 2016 league age)
**Please note that if your child played the 2015 Spring Baseball season for Hanover Little League you will receive a $20 discount off the registration fees listed above

Softball Divisions:
10U $75
12U  $75
14U  $75
18U  $75
(Ages are based on player’s Spring 2016 league age)

Practices: Twice a week
Games: Saturday or Sunday ( 8 for 8U & 10U, 10 for 12U & 14U)
Locations: This is a travel league with games all over York County, the majority on the western side. DON’T let the word “TRAVEL” scare you: these are rec level teams that are playing other similarly talented rosters. We just play other towns rather than our own ”in house” squads. Kids who may not be up to a traditional “travel” talent level will LOVE the taste of this experience!

Season: Practices will begin in August, games start the Saturday after Labor Day through the end of October.

Playoffs: End of season tournament for 8-9, 10-11, 12, and 13-14 (minimum of 3 games)

Last year we had many players sign up that were involved in other sports. They could commit to Saturday games but could not make all weekday practices. We encouraged these players to sign up regardless of other sports because these additional players allowed more kids to play in the league by giving us more teams. It worked out really well for the league and gave all the kids more playing time and of course more experience. It was a really fun season and gave our players an opportunity to compete against other leagues and improve their skills and confidence on the playing field.

Any parents that are interested in coaching a Fall Ball team let me know that information as well. I am also encouraging you to forward this email to other families that have or have not played with us in the past, or may have a child that plays another sport in the Spring that may be interested in playing baseball in the Fall.

If you have any questions please feel free to email me at or call me at (410) 374-2663. I hope to see as many of you as possible for Fall Ball 2015!
